Description MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine is seeking an Experienced Full-Time Physician Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide care at ouroffice based MaineHealth Primary Care, Internal Medicine Practice located in Farmington, Maine. Schedule: 40 hours/ 4-day work week; Experienced preferred, will consider New Grads based on experience. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team including four physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APP), working together with outstanding support staff. MaineHealth Internal Medicine services provide office based primary care medicine services and preventive and diagnostic cardiovascular services and serve a population of approximately 40,000. The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships. This provider will manage a broad range of Women’s Health issues including prenatal and postnatal OB care. However, there is the potential to adapt this position based on the candidate’s interest and experience to include some combination of gynecological care, deliveries, or support for surgical procedures. The candidate is expected to have completed an accredited certified nurse midwifery, nurse practitioner or physician associate program and have two or more years of applicable women’s health experience. A successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and knowledge of low-risk pregnancy. They will also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment within a busy OB/GYN practice.
