Assumes clinical and administrative responsibilities in the absence of the Director/Manager. Prepares daily charts and maintains medical files and electronic medical records. Obtains clarification of policy, whenever necessary, and may use resources available through other departments. Assesses clinical staff competencies and provides remediation, as necessary, in collaboration with Clinical Services. Facilitates coordination of care across settings for a designated population and ensures that labs, studies, and referrals are completed and results are discussed with the patient. Provides regular feedback and involves other colleagues in quality improvement workflow development. Reviews clinical staff competencies and provides remediation, as necessary.
