Salary Range: $87.66 - $116.86 + applicable differentials The Registered Nurse is a clinical nurse and a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process and other input from health care team members in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and other health care related regulatory agencies. The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse includes the direct nursing care of the patient utilizing the nursing process, development and application of leadership, management and communication concepts, teaching of patients and staff and maintenance of professional standards.
