Job ID: P143688-2805 Job Description This is a Fixed Term position Description Of Daily Duties The Interventional Radiology (IR) NP/PA position is part of a collaborative team model of care consisting of IR physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses, and residents/fellow who provide care for patients with a wide range of pediatric diagnoses. We are looking for a highly motivated and self-directed practitioner with excellent communication skills, clear judgment, and attention to detail. This is a highly demanding role requiring the utmost in clinical and professional preparation. Previous APP experience in critical care, procedure-based roles, or interventional radiology is preferred. Pediatric IR patients range from premature infants to young adults. APPs are primarily responsible for inpatient management and consultations and performing procedures according to standardized guidelines. The APP team also assists primary inpatient teams with line and drain management post procedures. The APP team works with interventionalists in a weekly outpatient clinic to provide post- procedure follow-up and evaluate new cases.
