Assistant Director of Nursing Emerald Care Center Tulsa is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as our Assistant Director of Nursing. The ADON will work along side of our DON to coordinate and manage the delivery of nursing services in accordance with federal and state guidelines to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our residents. The Assistant Director of Nursing reports to the Director of Nursing and will assist in supervising all direct care staff. This position requires excellent leadership skills, effective communication skills, and great interpersonal skills. Must be able to provide instruction to the nursing department staff, develop staff members, remove obstacles for the team, and create a culture of trust and appreciation. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with other departments and medical professionals, monitor and oversee the nursing department to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
