This role ensures that resident care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations , while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and service. This leader partners closely with the Executive Director and department heads to support resident satisfaction, occupancy goals, and operational excellence . Key Responsibilities Oversee all clinical operations, including resident care, medication management, and care planning Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and healthcare standards Lead, coach, and develop nursing and caregiving teams Monitor and improve quality outcomes, resident safety, and service delivery Conduct resident assessments and ensure appropriate care plans are implemented and followed Partner with sales and leadership teams to support timely move-ins and continuity of care Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency within the department Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting Serve as a key point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare providers Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (per state requirements) Previous leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare setting required Strong knowledge of state regulations, compliance, and survey readiness Proven ability to lead teams and manage clinical operations effectively Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Passion for delivering high-quality, resident-centered care Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs; assist with transfers requiring up to 80 lbs of force Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the community for extended periods Exposure to communicable diseases, infectious materials, and healthcare environments What Success Looks Like in This Role Strong clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance Engaged, well-trained, and stable care team High resident and family satisfaction Efficient operations supporting occupancy and retention goals Apply Today If you are a driven clinical leader looking to make a meaningful impact in senior living, we encourage you to apply and join a team committed to excellence in care.
