Key Responsibilities • Staff Supervision & Training • Supervise Caregivers and Medication Technicians, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies. • Complete Caregivers skills checklists within 30 days of hire and conduct quarterly observations. • Lead daily staff huddles and communicate updates effectively. • Conduct new employee orientation and ensure completion of pre-service training requirements. • Coordinate and track two in-services per month and maintain ongoing competency validations. • Monitor staff compliance with uniform policies and promote professional standards. • Ensure consistent performance feedback and coaching are provided to Caregivers and Med Techs.” • Maintain an annual in-service training calendar and track competency completions. • Resident Care & Service Coordination Qualifications & Skills • Licensed Nurse through state of CA in good standing. • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor frontline staff. • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. • 2+ years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred. • Experience in medication management and familiarity with state regulations. • Prior experience conducting staff training and coaching. Caregiver Looking for a job where your work truly matters? As a Caregiver in our senior living community, you will build meaningful connections, provide compassionate support, and help residents live each day with dignity and joy. Key Responsibilities • Resident Care & Support • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. • Assist residents with meals, snacks, hydration, and feeding as needed. • Support residents with ambulation, positioning, and range-of-motion activities. • Monitor residents’ comfort levels and promptly address needs and concerns. • Health Monitoring & Documentation • Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and fluid intake/output accurately. • Report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive status to the Caregiver Coordinator or Executive Director. • Document all care, observations, and resident interactions in compliance with Mosaic policies and regulatory requirements. • Resident Engagement & Activities Qualifications & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Prior caregiving experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience strongly valued. • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. • Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support seniors. • Knowledge of assisted living, memory care, and related regulations preferred. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
