Home Health Aide Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team of caregivers at Right at Home Upper West Side Manhattan. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential daily care, companionship, and basic health-related services to elderly, disabled, or chronically ill individuals in their homes. Responsibilities: Provide Personal Care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and incontinence care Assist with Health Monitoring, including checking temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure Offer Mobility Assistance, including helping clients transfer from bed to chairs, use walkers or wheelchairs, and perform prescribed exercises Provide Medication and Health Management services, including providing medication reminders and assisting with self-administration Perform Household Support tasks, including light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning), preparing meals, and shopping for groceries Provide Companionship and Safety services, including emotional support, reducing social isolation, and ensuring a safe home environment Maintain accurate records of services provided, client condition, and reporting changes to a nurse or supervisor Requirements: Actie HHA Certificate Two (2) forms of ID Two (2) reference letters Covid Vaccination Card (at least 2 doses) Physical Form (completed within the past 6 months) Rubella Immunization (Must be POSITIVE/IMMUNE with titers on the lab report) Rubeola/Measles Immunization (Must be POSITIVE/IMMUNE with titers on the lab report) Mumps Immunization (Must be POSITIVE/IMMUNE with titers on the lab report) Varicella Immunization (Must be POSITIVE/IMMUNE with titers on the lab report) Annual PPD/QuantiFERON TB Gold results (not more than 1 year old) Drug Screen 7-10 Panel (Not more than 1 year old) Flu Shot (optional) Benefits: Competitive pay ($19.65-$22.50 an hour) with pay may vary by location, level of training, and type of shift Flexible/Permanent schedules Health Insurance 401(k) retirement plan Weekly pay Sick Time Ongoing PAID training and development Why Right at Home?
