Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with an every other weekend requirement Responsibilities : Provide nursing coverage as required for the Medpace Clinical Pharmacology Unit according to the study protocol, applicable SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice; Perform and document clinical procedures (e.g., vital signs, intravenous (IV) insertions, venipunctures, laboratory tests, electrocardiograms) as appropriate to specific needs of study and individual subjects; Responsible for accurate and safe administration/dispensation of medications according to protocol; Assess and document adverse events; and Provide end of shift report to ensure adequate follow-up of issues and to provide continuity of care. Medpace is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse Study Coordinator to join our Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU), where nurses play a critical role in the development of new medicines and therapies. In this role, you will work directly with study participants, physicians, and clinical research professionals while gaining experience in Phase I clinical trials. This position offers a great opportunity to combine patient care, clinical research, and career growth to directly contribute to advancing innovative therapeutics. Responsibilities : May assist in interviewing, evaluating, and scheduling prospective study subjects according to protocol criteria; Responsible for accurate and safe administration of medications according to protocols; Responsible for assessing subjects for adverse events and ensuring they are documented; Perform and/or schedule procedures (e.g. vital signs, intravenous insertions, venipunctures, laboratory tests, ECGs, etc.); Work closely with Project Managers on operational matters (i.e. study execution planning, operational flow); Interacts with study Monitors and resolving data queries, confirming eligible subjects, and interacting with the Investigator for medical matters.
