Respiratory Nurse (RN)

Respiratory Nurse (RN) Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Advanced Healthcare Center in Toledo, Ohio. As a Respiratory Nurse, you will provide comprehensive respiratory nursing care to residents with tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and other chronic respiratory conditions. Responsibilities: Assess residents with respiratory conditions and identify changes in respiratory status Provide specialized nursing care for residents with tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators Monitor oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation (CPAP, BiPAP, and AVAPS), and respiratory treatments Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy regarding ventilator management, respiratory treatments, and resident care planning Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans Recognize and respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition Ensure accurate documentation of respiratory assessments, treatments, interventions, and resident responses Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory disease management and respiratory equipment About the Role: As a Respiratory Nurse at Advanced Healthcare Center, you will play an essential role in ensuring residents receive high-quality respiratory care through ongoing assessment, monitoring, education, and coordination of care. We are seeking an RN or LPN Full & Part Time Hours Available with 8- or 12-hour shift options. You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of assigned patients in conjunction with the Doctor, also working to establish and assist in the care plans for patients in a correctional environment. Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a correctional environment. Assist to establish patient treatment plans. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities! Maintain accurate patient medical records. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields - IS NOT required, we train. State Tested Nursing Assistant

Full Time or Part Time Shifts Available Must carry an Active CNA License* We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (state tested nursing assistant) with a valid license through the state of Ohio to become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The STNA will interact directly with patients, providing comfort, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individual to be a vital link between our patients and the nurses and other team members. STNA Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning, and ambulating patients and providing fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals. Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos, and showers. Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, and therapeutic baths. Assist the nurses and other staff as needed. Ability to work as part of a team and to manage multiple tasks safely and effectively. High tolerance for working under pressure and managing critical situations with a cool head. CNA Requirements High School diploma or GED Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training course Licensed to practice in Ohio.
