We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, ensure comfort, and provide high-quality care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning. Assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a physician. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Collect laboratory specimens (e.g., urine, blood) and perform basic lab tests. Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care practices. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and administering injections. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and CMAs. Your exceptional skills and attention to detail will ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and comfort. Essential Job Functions: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and CMAs in accordance with the Nurses Practice Acts and rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care industry. Confirm that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by the facility. Meet with your assigned nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the shift's services, programs, and activities.
