Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab. We perform a wide range of procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiograms, device implants, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiograms, PICC, and Midline placement. Job Requirements: Current State of GA RN license. Current BLS and ACLS. One or more years of cardiac cath lab experience is preferred but not required. Excellent Teamwork and Customer Service Skills a must.
Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams. Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history. Maintains current documentation standards. Completes within shift. Notifies provider of changes in symptoms in patients. Completes the referral process for insurances. Responsible for appropriate Rx refill calls to pharmacies. Sets up machines, administer injections and medications, and perform routine specimen collection and tests. Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments. Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies. Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients. Willing to assist in any area as requested by physician or office manager. Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system. Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records.
Oversees CCM and RPM patient populations by monitoring vital signs and health data, identifying trends or abnormalities, and escalating concerns to providers as needed. Ensures accurate documentation, supports care plan execution, and maintains ongoing communication with patients and care teams to promote quality care and prevent avoidable utilization.

Assists in reviewing and revising policies and procedures. Willingly provides assistance to other nursing units when requested by management personnel. Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality. Displays concern and initiative. Observes and supports hospital policy. Adheres to hospital policies regarding punctuality and absences and is flexible with scheduling. Cooperates and maintains good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors. Practices scripting and communicates effectively with patients and family members. Observes and adheres to patients’ Bill of Rights as related to patient care. Performs any and all job duties as assigned by Director for completion of job requirements. Annual completion of World Health Organization hand hygiene education and training and its relationship to infection control in addition to physical demonstration and understanding of compliance monitoring.
The Dialysis Nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and outcome for the chronic and/or acute dialysis patient. Coordinates, delegates, and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members, and all patient care team members. Checks and records patients’ vitals before, during, and after dialysis treatment. Operates dialysis machines efficiently in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines. Ensures that hemodialysis treatments are administered to patients correctly. Monitors patients during dialysis treatment to identify any adverse reactions. Prepares and updates nursing care plans. Promptly notifies the appropriate medical practitioner of any problems that occur during dialysis treatments. After a minimum of 3 months post training, will assume a role in the after hours on call rotation. Will be expected to sit for national certification within 18 months of employment.
