Transport Diver CNA

Golden Years Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently searching for a dedicated Transportation Driver to join our team! Hours- Monday- Friday 8a-5p CNA license is required Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The Transportation Aide/Van Driver will transport residents to appointments, various individual and group activities. **Daily Pay Available** Driver Responsibilities: Provide primarily medically necessary transportation in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Safely secure residents' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip. Report resident medical issues in timely manner. Implement transportation schedule and notify nursing and Unit managers of schedule conflicts and/or issues. Notify supervisor when equipment in need of maintenance or repair. Notify supervisor when there are unresolved conflicts with scheduling. Cleaning the interior of the van on a regular basis, assuring the vehicle is presentable for the transport of residents. Responsible for ensuring that patients are supervised; safety is maintained at all times; and patients are treated with respect and dignity. Perform other duties as assigned. Driver Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. CNA license is required Must have a valid state drivers’ license. Proof of Insurance. Must have satisfactory, safe driving record. Must be at least 21 years old. Physical Demands Required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, reach with hands and arms, feel, see, talk and hear. Employee may be required at times to push/pull residents in wheelchairs weighing between 100-300 lbs, including assisting ambulatory residents with entering/exiting the vehicle.
