Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: 201 Pleasant Hill Road Chester, NJ 07930Schedule: Per Diem (PRN), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Nights) (Includes Weekday Nights & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $52/hr + Shift Differential

Responsibilities

On each shift, you will partner with a Nursing Assistant and handle a manageable case load. Together, you will help our patients achieve the outlined goals and milestones based on their unique patient care plan. 

  • Receiving admissions and/or transfers.
  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
  • Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement.
  • Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid State RN License required
  • BLS required at hire
  • Minimum of 1 year as a full-time RN in an acute care, med/surg, acute medical rehabilitation or related hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred
  • Clinical experience preferred

Per Diem Requirement: Four (4)  shifts per 6-week schedule. One Saturday or Sunday, one minor holiday/ major holiday.

Additional Data

Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process, to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

North Jersey Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center is seeking a Per diem Registered Nurse to join our team. The Endoscopy RN will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. Serve as a circulating nurse in the procedure room. Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for upper endoscopy, colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy.
