Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Women's Health Nurse Midwife at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. 

The Women’s Health Nurse Midwife contract position offers: 

  • Monday – Friday 7:30 - 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

The Women’s Health Nurse Midwife position will have the following requirements:

  • Master’s Degree from an approved OB/GYN or women's health nurse practitioner program
  • Or master’s degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program will be accepted with women’s health/gynecology experience
  • Perform and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures, including, but not limited to, cervical cytologic screening, microscopy, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, Nexplanon insertion and intrauterine device (IUD) insertion.
  • National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP or AMCB
  • Any State License
  • Two years of experience in past three years

Overview Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina, is devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders and is seeking a top Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant candidate to oversee the operation of a Multispecialty Infusion Clinic (MSI) for weekend infusions of monoclonal antibodies. This position is 20-hours a week, weekends only! Successful candidates would onboard patient referrals to the clinic via telehealth visits and provide incident-to coverage for Saturday and Sunday infusion appointments. Candidates must be able to directly manage infusion emergencies in the office.
