Responsibilities Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute Per Diem /Day position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL's, promoting wellness, health/education and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient's personal hygiene, ADL's, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assist patient with TC and DB and use of incentive spirometer and providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients. They provide emotional support to their patients and document their interventions. Prepares patient room and bed for admission and transfers and ensures all necessary equipment is in room. Assists in patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures. Assist with handling and care of patient belongings and other personal property. Answers patient call lights, telephone, and paging system and responds as appropriate.
