Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time

Job Summary:

Lotus Village Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, a skilled nursing facility in Sparta, NC, is seeking experienced and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, delivering exceptional service, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

  • Take and record patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.

  • Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management team, asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

  • Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, family members, peers, and supervisors.

  • Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

  • Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.

  • Current/active CPR certification, preferred.

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
