Assist residents in ambulation with or without self-help devices as instructed Performs restorative procedures as instructed Accurately measure and record heights and weights, temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures as instructed Empty urinary drainage bags and record amount in the record as indicated; report any irregularities to nurse Ensure call lights are within reach of residents and answer call lights promptly Ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently Report all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as practical Maintain cleanliness of resident units, central bathing area, treatment and supply rooms, workrooms, and linen closets; clean bedpans, urinals, and commodes; wash basins, sanitize bathtub after each resident’s use, clean floors Perform other related duties as assigned.
