Position Overview
Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered by attending physicians, while strictly verifying resident identity.
• Documentation: Review medication administration records (MAR) for accuracy; chart medication orders, and carefully document any instances of medication refusal.
• Inventory Control: Assist with ordering medications, clinical supplies, and equipment; promptly monitor and report any drug or narcotic discrepancies.
• Team Collaboration: Work independently with minimal supervision to prioritize tasks, while communicating effectively with nurses and the broader clinical team.

Requirements

• Certification: Current Medication Aide Certification or a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the state of North Carolina.
• Certifications: Active CPR certification required.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Technical Literacy: Basic computer proficiency for electronic medication charting and internet navigation.
