Job Title: (CMA) Certified Medication Aide

Job Summary:

Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, a resident-centered and quality-focused skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team. As a CMA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document medications as ordered by attending licensed physicians

  • Verify resident identity and ensure proper medication administration

  • Document any instances of medication refusal or non-administration

  • Assist with medication charting and ordering of medications, supplies, and equipment as needed

  • Monitor and report any drug and narcotic discrepancies

  • Review medication cards for completeness and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Current Medication Aide Certification or Current Nursing Assistant Certification from NC

  • Current/active CPR certification

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office and internet navigation

  • High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate at all levels of the organization

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions
