What You’ll Do

As a Caregiver, you’ll support clients with daily living activities such as:

Assisting with transfers and mobility (bed to chair, walker, etc.)
Providing personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
Preparing meals and snacks
Performing light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dishes, bed linens, etc.)
Offering medication reminders
Accompanying clients on errands or to medical appointments
Assisting with prescribed exercises or range-of-motion activities
Providing companionship and engagement through conversation, music, reading, or walks
Supporting clients with dementia or cognitive challenges

What You’ll Need

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Must pass a background check
CNA license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred

We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dynamic care team at Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester! Part-time openings on all shifts. Full-time openings on 7a-3p. Weekly pay ranges from $19 to $24 an hour. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse. Experience & Education: Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, be in the process of obtaining one, or recently graduated from a state-approved CNA course. CPR certification preferred, but not necessary. New graduates welcome! Duties & Responsibilities: Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident. Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care. Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly. Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them. Document accurately and completely. Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
