Responsibilities:

  • Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating

  • Take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics

  • Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager

  • Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors

  • Assist the nurse with various duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC

  • Current/active CPR certification, preferred

  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills

  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure

  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor
