Job Summary:

At Seniors Helping Seniors KC North, we are committed to providing companionship and support to seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and assistance. Responsibilities:

  • Provide non-medical care and companionship to our senior clients in their homes
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
  • Engage in conversation, play games, and participate in activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for our clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
