Job Summary:

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of rehabilitation and skilled nursing care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including assisting with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to licensed nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and rehabilitation programs
  • Demonstrate empathy and kindness towards patients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in infection control and fall prevention measures
  • Adhere to Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients with or without assistive devices
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p (including occasional overtime)
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug test
