Position Summary

Nightingale at Crossett is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated nightshift care team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about resident care, thrives in a supportive team environment, and brings strong clinical experience to a skilled nursing setting. You will play a key role in ensuring highquality care and a safe, comfortable environment for our residents during overnight hours.

 

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders.

  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the RN or DON.

  • Perform wound care, assessments, and other clinical tasks as assigned.

  • Ensure proper documentation of all care provided.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, personcentered care.

  • Support and guide CNAs during the shift.

  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and teamoriented work culture.

Resident Support & Customer Service

  • Build trusting relationships with residents and families.

  • Respond to resident needs with compassion, patience, and professionalism.

  • Promote dignity, safety, and comfort for all residents.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols.

  • Support survey readiness and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Arkansas (or ability to obtain).

  • Previous healthcare experience required; skilled nursing/longterm care preferred.

  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.

  • Compassionate, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
