Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

PREFERRED:

  • BSN degree
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
  • Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

1030AM-7PM

Schedule: PRN On Call: NA What You Need to Know This RN Case Manager is responsible for managing patients' care plans from admission through discharge and for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. The position combines direct and indirect patient care activities and directs staff nurses, LPNs, and CHHAs in delivering the individual patient’s plan of care, as well as identifying interdisciplinary needs and coordinating allied health clinicians.
