Position Summary

The inpatient psychiatric ARNP is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and directing treatment for adult patients with psychiatric disorders admitted to acute inpatient level of care.Responsibilities • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients 18 years or older with acute psychiatric disorders requiring inpatient hospitalization • Conduct suicide and violence risk assessments • Formulate and implement comprehensive and evidence-based treatment plans • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications • Order laboratory tests as indicated • Manage acute behavioral emergencies with behavioral and pharmacologic interventions • Lead treatment team meetings and coordinate activity of the interdisciplinary team, including primary care providers, social workers, RNs, and other team members • Consult with primary care providers and other clinicians to facilitate evaluation and treatment of medical conditions • Collaborate with Social Workers and Court Evaluators to assess readiness for discharge and formulate discharge plans • Document in the electronic medical record Requirements • A graduate degree from an advanced nursing education program accredited by a national nursing accreditation body recognized by the United States Department of Education. • An active Washington state RN license, without sanctions or restrictions • State NP license • Current CME hours to maintain licensure • Adult Psychiatry and/or Lifespan Certification of Completion from the American Nurse Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners • Registration capability with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services • An active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

What You’ll Do: Serves as subject matter expert for professional standard and expectation to all nursing and Medical Assistant staff. ARNP-Inpatient Psych (Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit)

PRN FTE 0.0 Position Summary Nurse Practitioner (NP) provider will be responsible for initial diagnostic evaluation and treatment plan and progressive care of the patients till they are stabilized for discharge back to recommended level of follow up care.Responsibilities • NP will be responsible for care of maximum of 8-9 pts a day • NP will be responsible each day for a maximum of two new intake evaluations and treatment plan for new patients each day. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $139,200.00 - $155,200.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
