Resident Assistant/Medication Manager - Part-Time 2nd Shift

About the Role: RA

As an RA, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at The Summit in Bettendorf.

As a RA, you will:

Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medication management protocols.
Assist residents with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation, promoting their independence and well-being.
Monitor residents' health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals and family members.
Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.

Open Shifts Available:

1st Shift (6:30am-2:00pm) Full-Time and Part-Time
2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) Full-Time and Part-Time

May provide medication reminders, assistance with self-administration of medications and administration of medications as allowed by state and federal laws and applicable rules according to company policies and procedures. Key communicator with the resident’s pharmacy, healthcare provider and family regarding medication management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Knowledge of assisted living policies and procedures regarding all aspects of medication management Remains current in knowledge of state and federal rules regarding scope of practice, medication storage & disposal, infection control practices & bio-hazardous waste disposal. Able to accurately read, and follow medication orders and medication labels. Able to accurately transpose medication orders to the MAR & make any needed corrections to the MAR according to physician orders.
