Are you a NP or PA that wants to take the next step in their career?  ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for an Advance Practice Clinician for our Advanced Heart Failure Program.  The selected candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and administrative oversight for our team of APCs across multiple sites, including Christiana and Wilmington.

With more than 2,000 primary heart failure discharges per year, you will have every opportunity to make a significant impact on the outcomes of our heart failure population. The NP/PA will also be required to maintain on-call coverage in a rotating call schedule with the other 4 APC’s for the LVAD program (must be within a 45 minute response time of the hospital while on call). Generous compensation for on-call coverage is provided.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (nurse practitioner) or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
  • Experience preferably in cardiology or advanced heart failure
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • ACLS required
  • Licensure or license eligible in the state of Delaware

Annual Compensation Range $115,474.00 - $143,579.00

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
