Department Details The 16-bed Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) is located within a Level 1 trauma hospital and designated Comprehensive Stroke Center, providing specialized care for patients with critical neurological conditions. This unit manages complex cases including traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes, and patients requiring external ventricular drains (EVDs) or lumbar drains for intracranial pressure management. With a focus on continuous neuro-monitoring and acute assessments, the Neuro ICU is staffed by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that is able to offer state of the art interventions such as various SAH management (coiling, clipping, diverting, and vasospasm control). The team is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a technologically advanced and fast-paced environment.
