Where You Will Work:  

       The Nephrology unit is a 14-bed medical unit located at Atrium Health Cabarrus dedicated to the care of patients ranging from young adults to geriatric individuals with acute renal failure, renal insufficiency, and other primary diagnoses involving nephrotic conditions. Staff members are proficient in performing peritoneal dialysis both within and outside of the unit. This unit, classified as low-to-moderate acuity, focuses on managing patients with diverse medical needs that require continuous monitoring and specialized interventions, including peritoneal dialysis. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates closely with physicians from various specialties to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care.  

Expectations We’re Looking For:  

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing  

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices  

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.  

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
