WOUND NP QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Current, unrestricted NP license in the state of Arkansas. Board Certification. DEA licensure (Optional) Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties. Clinical background of wound care; including but not limited to chronic, debilitating, stalled, or infected wounds Must be comfortable with diagnosing and treating diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed etiology wounds or Kennedy Ulcers. Must be comfortable staging pressure injuries according to the NPIAP Must be familiar with wound care best practice and advanced wound care products; collagens, alginates, foams, silvers, etc. Must have experience with wound vacs and other DME, such as pressure relieving/ reducing devices Strong preference to having wound certification or be open to getting certified Experience working in a long-term care setting. Ability to work with an EMR. Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care. Overview Intensive Care Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Job Description Job Summary Intensive Care Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) will provide advanced care to critically ill patients in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients. Diagnose and manage acute and life-threatening conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, multi-organ dysfunction, etc . Develop and implement treatment plans, that include, but not limited to ventilator management and advanced life support interventions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as chest X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, arterial blood gases (ABGs), and echocardiograms . Perform procedures that include, but not limited to central line placement, arterial line placements, intubation, chest tube insertion, and lumbar punctures , Vascath, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Cardioversion. Skilled in use and interpretation of data from complex monitoring systems such as ventilators, blood gas analysis, CPAP, BiPAP, IABP, Impella, ECMO, advanced hemodynamic monitoring devices (i.e. pulmonary artery catheter), and intracranial pressure monitoring. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based critical care. Educate patients and families on disease management and post-ICU recovery.
