Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Position Summary 

The Emergency Department manages nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients based on the Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. This Nursing care encompasses the biophysical, psychosocial, cultural, self-care, teaching and continuing care needs of the patients as appropriate to age and diagnosis.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Position Requirements  

  • RN License
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR and ACLS certification
  • A Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred and must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.

ER RN Position Requirements Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) PALS and ACLS required within 6 months of hire ER RN Work Schedule May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy. Scheduled off at least three holidays per year. Required to work weekends per unit need. Expected to work overtime on occasion.
