LPN School Contract

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is needed to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing support for a first-grade student during the 2026-27 school year in Tumwater, WA. This contract position offers a consistent 32.5 hours per week, allowing you to contribute your nursing expertise directly within an educational setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized nursing care tailored to the student’s needs to ensure safety and well-being throughout the school day
  • Monitoring and managing any medical conditions or treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborating closely with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support the student’s health and learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
  • Responding promptly to any health emergencies or concerns when they arise

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid LPN/LVN licensure and credentials
  • Prior experience working with pediatric patients, particularly in school settings, is highly valued
  • Ability to work independently in a one-on-one care model
