RN Endoscopy - Position Summary

With five procedure rooms, the Endoscopy Department at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center (ARRMC) sees an average of 5,500 patients a year. In addition to screening endoscopy and colonoscopy, we perform many therapeutic procedures such as: endoscopic cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Esophageal Motility Studies, EBUS, bronchoscopy, and liver biopsy.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred

Experience

Minimum of 2 years acute care /ambulatory/ conscious sedation required
Charge nurse experience preferred
Critical care/ ER experience preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to work under self-direction, leadership and problem-solving skills of a complex nature and organizational skills

Licensure/Certification

RN: Registered Nurse by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support required upon start
WCC: Wound Care Certified preferred
CAPA: Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse preferred
CGRN: Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse preferred
CSRN: Certified Sedation Registered Nurse preferred

Position Summary Asante Radiation Oncology is an integral part of our cancer services team, combining the latest in technology with compassionate patient-centered care. Radiation Oncology is a multidisciplinary team consisting of Radiation Oncologists, physicist, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, specially trained RNs, and medical assistants. As we continue to expand our medical services to meet the needs of our community, one area we are focused on is expanding and improving the state of cancer care.
