This unit cares for a variety of patients, including those who are suffering from serious conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, electrolyte imbalances, renal failure, liver failure, gastrointestinal bleeds, blood disorders, cancer, sepsis, surgical patients, respiratory distress, or multi-system organ failure.
