The Village at Brookfield Commons is hiring Full Time CNAs on 2nd Shift, 3p-11p. Starting hourly rate is $20. Must have a valid CNA license.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. 

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting 
  • Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. 
  • Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. 
  • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. 
  • Other duties as needed. 
 

Requirements: 

  • Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Keep an accurate record of food intake and output, as directed. Be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light and noise control. Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed. Promptly answer call lights and assist with other resident needs. Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested. CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Current Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in NY state. Must have at least 6 months of CNA experience. Current/active CPR certification. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
