The Nursing Assistant assists in patient care throughout the Operating Room. The Nursing Student will assist in room turn over, positioning of patients to and from stretcher to OR table and safe handling of specimens to Laboratory in timely manner. Needs to understand the patient's condition to ensure their care and safety.

 

Compensation Pay Range:

$18.58 - $25.01

D. Demonstrates proper body mechanics for all functions and use of patient lifts as needed.

Minimum Education - Preferred
High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Minimum Work Experience
Previous Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.

BLS - Basic Life Support.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
