As Care Giver/Medication Technician, you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day.

Your Role:

As the Care Giver/Medication Technician, your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.
  • Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses
  • Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.
  • Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces.
  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred 
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment
