Responsibilities

What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compassion
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and positive outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with established protocols and regulations

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in nursing or related health and human services field from an accredited college or university OR an RN from an accredited two-year program
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required
  • Be able to bend stoop, push, pull, sit, and walk for periods of time
  • Able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting 50 pounds

UNIT SUMMARY This 72 bed PCU practices patient and family centered care. The unit acuity level of patience is progressive care. Our unit consists of highly motivated, skilled Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Telemetry Technicians working together as a team. PCU cares for a wide variety of critically ill patients who require cardiac drips with need for titration, ventilated patients, and those that require a higher level of supportive care. RN Ortho Neuro Trauma

About the unit This 48-bed unit is dedicated to ortho/neuro/trauma. Some specific diagnoses’ are total knee, total hip, spinal fusions, and fractured hips. We are Stroke and Trauma certified and complete additional education every three months to better care for this population of patients. Our multidisciplinary team includes RN’s, nurse techs, nursing assistants, unit secretaries, PT/OT, orthopedic care coordinator and case managers.
