Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina.

  • APRNs will be PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health NP)

  • Must have a least 6 months of Mental Health APP experience

  • Currently licensed (or eligible) in the state of South Carolina as a Physician Assistant by the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners or as a Nurse Practitioner with the SC Board of Nursing.

  • Requires certification in ACLS

  • APRN or PA must maintain licenses, certifications, CNEs/CMEs, etc. as required by applicable policies and state law

  • DHEC and DEA license

Position Highlights:

  • Flexible hours (Combination of remote and onsite)

  • Outpatient (18 years - death)

  • Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations to determine the appropriate level of care for the patient. Will include management of psychotropic medications and all care needs.

  • Evaluates and treats on the basis of history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results pursuant to the practice agreement or scope of practice guideline
