Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff effectively. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Basic proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software. Minimum Education: Graduate of a medical assistant program is preferred License/ Certification/Registration: Basic Life Support Certification * Registered with American Medical Technologist or Certified with American Association of Medical Assistants Preferred.* Essential Functions: • Welcoming patients and visitors. • Answering and referring inquiries within scope of practice. • Telephone: Answers telephone, processes call, and document appropriately within medical records.
