Job Description​

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Emergency Department Float Pool. This is a night shift position that will float between all 4 main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas.

Our teams have unit-based leadership teams and are supportive and collaborative on one another. We believe in creating teams that are kind, professional and treats each other as they would a patient. This is key to being successful in this position.  These teams work with innovative processes and technologies. We continue to expand our robotics programs.

Shift: Full Time Nights

Responsibilities:

  • Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.

  • Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Delegates tasks appropriately.

  • Identifies hospital resources.

  • Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.

  • Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
