Nemours is seeking a PNP to join our Media Team!

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive patient assessments including history and physical examinations
Formulating assessment and treatment plans of pediatric patients
Communicating with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition
Educating parents/caregivers on patient condition and plan of care
Triaging and responding to phone calls from patient families
Accurately recording patient information in the electronic medical record
The NP must be able to work independently as well as part of multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

PNP- Active unrestricted Pennsylvania or compact state RN and APRN licensure, Pennsylvania prescriptive authority (CSR), Pennsylvia DEA with a PA address, and a BLS from the American Heart Association.
Three years of related clinical experience required
Excellent written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills required.

This is an intensive program for new graduate NPs/PAs offering mentorship from experienced clinicians, didactic education, specialty rotations, vest simulation opportunities to enhance patient care skills in a primary care setting. This fellowship program is both supportive and challenging as APCs are seeing patients to engage in the clinical experience, while continuing to learn and grow through a structured didactic curriculum.
