The Student Surgical Technologist provides care to the surgical patient under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and/or the physician. You will collaborate with the surgical services team to provide care for all patient populations during the operative and immediate post-operative recovery phase. You will participate in sponge needle and instrument counts, communicate with surgical team members, promote efficient use of time, supplies, equipment and special needs for the surgical procedure. You must be currently enrolled in a Surgical Technologist program and in good standing.
