Job Description:

Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of total patient care services during his/her assigned shift.


Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.

 

Experience:

Five (5) years clinical experience and One (1) year Charge RN.

 

Technical Skills: 

Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database.

 

License/Certifications: 

BLS and ACLS. Current RN license in the State of Nevada.

 

Other: 

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.

MDS Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE: The MDS Coordinator is responsible to assess and/or coordinate the assessment of all residents and to complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), the electronic transmission of RAI data to the State of Nevada, the transfer of Resident Assessment Group Data (RUG) to the hospital PatCom system, and the ongoing education of those completing the MDS.
