Restorative Aide CNA

Job Summary Must have active CNA license . 8 hour shifts Saturday, Sunday, Monday schedule 7a-330p, 9a-530p rotating shifts We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Aide to join our team. The Restorative Aide plays a vital role in assisting residents with their restorative care plans, helping them achieve and maintain their highest level of physical functioning, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional care, has a strong attention to detail, and works well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Resident Care : Assist residents with restorative care plans, including range-of motion exercises, ambulation, and activities to promote independence. Implement restorative programs designed by therapists, nurses, or other healthcare professionals. Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the nursing or therapy teams. Collaboration : Work closely with nursing staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure a cohesive approach to care. Participate in care plan meetings and provide input on residents' progress and restorative needs. Documentation : Accurately record restorative interventions and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines. Maintain compliance with documentation requirements to support billing and care standards. Resident Advocacy : Encourage and motivate residents to actively participate in their restorative care programs. Ensure residents’ dignity, comfort, and safety during all restorative activities. Compliance and Safety : Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Qualifications Education and Certification : High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state. Completion of a restorative aide training program preferred. Experience : Previous experience as a restorative aide or CNA in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred. Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting residents during restorative activities. Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, and physical activity to assist residents. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
