Responsibilities of the CNA Educator include:
- Design and Delivery of Clinical Education
- Develop and facilitate clinical learning programs in both online and in-person formats.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and WesleyLife philosophies.
- Collaboration Across Teams
- Work with Health Services, Clinical Excellence, and Organizational Learning to:
- Establish documentation and processes.
- Secure classrooms and equipment.
- Create auditing and tracking systems for ongoing program success.
- Evaluation of Program Effectiveness
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical training programs.
- Maintain and report on retention, completion, and other metrics to assess program impact.
- Managing Training Plans
- Develop onboarding and orientation practices that meet annual training requirements.
- Oversee clinical training programs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with 1 year of hands-on experience as an RN within a long-term-care setting
- A valid Iowa RN licenses is required to be considered for this position.
- Preferred - Certified in one of more of the following or able to obtain within 6 months of hire: MHFA, CPR / BLS Instructor Certification.
- Preferred - Completed Wound Care Certification, IV Certification, Certified Dementia Practitioner or other identified areas of clinical competency.
- Proficient in the use of learning development and delivery software (Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, etc.).
