Massapequa Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 320-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Amityville NY, our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

 We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform a variety of care practices to assigned residents. CNAs must demonstrate competency in skills and techniques necessary to care for residents needs as described in the plan of care.

 

  • Currently certified by the New York State Department of Health
  • Must be able to lift residents (minimum 50 pounds) and turn and position numerous times during the course of a work day.
  • Must have the ability to transfer a resident from sitting to standing position and vice versa.
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs, bend, maneuver equipment and push small carts.
  • LTC experience a plus.
