What you'll do

Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.

Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing guidance and support.

Assist in training and orientation of new employees.

Handle any emergencies or issues that arise during shifts, following established protocols.

Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need

Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice.

Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Position Summary: The House Supervisor maintains nursing unit goals and objectives and is responsible for the supervision of nursing unit(s). The House Supervisor ensures compliance of nursing practices, procedures, systems, and processes with company policy as well as federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The House Supervisor coordinates programs and services under the direction and in consultation with the Director of Nursing (DON). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide guidance, supervision, and management oversight to all nursing staff on all shifts. Ensure compliance with company policies as well as all federal, state, and local regulations. Supervises the nursing department in the absence of the DON/ADON as directed. Monitors staff compliance with assigned break times and patient care assignments. Effectively collaborate with medical staff and other departments to coordinate all aspects of patient care. Coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers; ensures appropriate documentation. Conduct patient rounds and provide immediate feedback to assigned staff. Initiates coaching/counseling and/or corrective action as necessary. Review and investigate patient, family, and staff concerns; take action to resolve and prevent reoccurrence. Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of quality nursing staff. Reviews staffing at change of shift; assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs.
