Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate patient records and closely monitor vital signs.
  • Lead and support our dedicated nursing staff, providing supervision and assistance.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, assigning duties, and overseeing patient care.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges for seamless transitions.
  • Communicate patient status to the Unit Manager.
  • Foster a nurturing and collaborative work environment, offering guidance to staff members.
  • Provide empathetic support to patients and their families during challenging times.
  • Collaborate with doctors and administrators to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Communicate protocol updates efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for all.
  • Keep essential reports up-to-date to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Respond swiftly and calmly to any emergencies or issues that arise.

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations
  • Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills
  • BLS Certification
  • RN License
